The news has been that the former first lady, Honey Alexander passed away at her home in Maryville on October 29th. She was 77 at the time of her death.

Who is Honey Alexander?

Honey Alexander was the former Tennessee first lady from 1978-1987 Born on October 12th, 1945, in Los  Angeles,  California, she was the daughter of Frank and Bette Jo Simpson Buhler 

She graduated with a degree in American studies from Smith College. She later joined the Washington DC staff, where she met her future husband Lamar Alexander and married 18 months later. 

In 1978 she became the first lady of Tennessee, and till in 1987, her service was innumerable. She was known as caring, funny, loving, unselfish, and courageous. On October 29th, she took her last breath at 77. Her first son passed away last year

It was reported that Honey Alexander passed away on Saturday at 77. Her family announced the news of her death. However, they did not disclose the nature of her death. She was survived by her husband, her kids, her grandkids and her siblings.

The former first lady passed away on Saturday, October 29th, 2022. However, the nature of her death is unknown.

The cause of Honey’s death is not unknown. The former first lady passed away on October 29th at Mayville with her family by her side.

The private graveside service will be held at the family’s Cemetery in Walland T.N.Later; the memorial service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral in Nashville.
