Ryan Helfin was a first year student from York college majoring in Sports media. He was from Norristown, Pennsylvania. There are not many details regarding his personal life. He was found dead in his dorm room on Thursday.
What happened to Ryan Heflin?
According to the dean of the campus, Richard Satterlee stated that Ryan was found unresponsive in a dorm on Thursday afternoon and was later pronounced dead.
According to the email he sent to the College community, which stated that there are no suspicious causes surrounding his death, his death deeply saddens them. However, the cause of his death is unknown.
Heflin’s death was the second incident that happened at York College. On October 8, a student named Andrew Ruehlicke, majoring in junior sports management passed away after finding himself unresponsive in his dorm, just like Heflin. He hailed from Mullica Hill, New Jersey.
According to the reports, the College is offering counseling services to staff and students of the classes he attended as well as to the residents where Heflin lived.
