Tiantian Kullander, co-founder of Amber Group, has passed away. He was thirty years old. On Nov. 23, Kullander passed away in his sleep, according to a statement posted on the company’s website. The firm said he “poured his heart and soul into every stage of the company’s development.”

Amber Group reports that Kullander “unexpectedly” died in his sleep on November 23. No other information was provided. The actual cause of death of Tiantian Kulander is unknown.
“We are deeply saddened to inform you of the sudden passing of Tiantian Kullander, our co-founder and friend, who passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. “TT is a pillar of Amber’s success.”
A note explained that he put his heart and soul into the company during each of its stages of growth. Throughout his life, he possessed intelligence, generosity, humility, diligence, and creativity as examples to follow.”
Who is Tiantian Kullander?
Amber was founded in 2017 by TT, a former Goldman Sachs Group and Morgan Stanley employee.
He worked as a trader for both financial giants prior to that, and was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2019, which honors young leaders and entrepreneurs.
The start-up scored a $200 million funding round earlier this year, valuing it at $3 billion.
