Who was Albert Reichmann?

Albert Reichmann of Canada was one of the top leaders of the Reichmann corporate empire, including four brothers. The Reichmann family, one of Canada’s top 100 wealthiest families, is renowned for their real estate development business, which produced landmarks including Toronto’s First Canadian Place and London’s Canary Wharf. 

According to Albert’s family, philanthropy and his Orthodox Jewish beliefs were important aspects of his life.

Albert’s Reichmann Career:

Two of Albert’s younger siblings, Paul Reichmann and Ralph Reichmann, had already established enterprises in Toronto when Albert relocated there. Paul served as the president of Olympia and York, their billion-dollar company, in 1989.

Albert Reichmann played a minor role despite serving as the company’s chairman, but he is best known for his charitable work. In the late 1980s, Albert became actively involved in the struggle for Jews in the Soviet Union, while Paul concentrated on the Canary Wharf project.

Using his wealth and influence, Albert Reichmann tried to assist them in moving to Israel. It is said that in 1993, Albert Reichmann addressed The Congress on behalf of Israel and Libya. His endowment is in the borough of New York City, in Brooklyn.

What was Albert’s cause of death?

The cause of death for Albert Reichmann has not yet been released. No such information was released online due to unknown reasons. Many individuals spoke of how dearly they loved him and how deeply they felt for his family. 

Philip and David Reichmann, Bernice Koenig, and Libby Gross are his children left behind by Albert to continue his legacy.
