Ashley Benefield, who was known at the age of 28, allegedly began firing inside a property in the gated enclave of the Lakewood Ranch on Sept. 27 while her partner named Doug Benefield, who is 58 years old, had his face to her, as per the Bradenton Herald.
And according to the Manatee Sheriff’s Department, the former ballerina claimed that her husband had assaulted her before shooting him badly without any fear. Still, detectives found no signs of physical abuse or that she may be acting in self-defense.
Some have compared the former dancer and the known bikini model to the devious character from the particular theatrical picture named “Black Swan.” Ashley and Doug Benefield had only known each other for thirteen days when they were wedded. He was known to be 54 years old and a widower, and she was only 24 years old, having a lot of age differences. Ashley was living with her extraordinary mother in the Central Park neighborhood of New York City, the area where the couple had divorced.
