Eric Glisson was found guilty and sentenced to 17 years in jail in the Bronx in 1995 until being proven not convicted. The court has wrongfully charged Eric Glisson with killing a taxi driver. Along with five others, he was convicted on the evidence of wrongful convictions and fraudulent allegations made by purported eyewitnesses.
Although spending 18 years in jail, Glisson successfully established he is innocent. Despite approximately two decades in jail, he was liberated. Glisson has been an example to several individuals after suffering over 17 years in jail for a murder he did not commit. The other three wrongfully accused convicts were also released due to what they did in court.
Eric Glisson Spent 17 Years in Jail After Being Falsely Convicted-
Eric Glisson and four other men were found guilty of murdering a livery taxi driver in 1995. Glisson was released from jail over 18 years down the line. Glisson was 18 at his conviction and committed to 25 years to life behind bars. Considering the absence of forensic proof and inconsistent witnesses, he was imprisoned, in which he would subsequently serve almost more of his life as a free person with genuine repentance for a murder he did not commit. Glisson has only been released after working on his appeal out of jail.
He was overheard that the actual murderers had surrendered to police investigators. Glisson sent a letter to a district attorney who was no longer on the job. The letter was sent by chance to the prosecutor who had obtained the statements of the criminals who had executed the murder.

Eric Glisson is a married man with a wonderful wife and a beautiful baby girl. He seems to have a wonderful life with his family. He has become a part of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where he would have committed to continue fighting for those other falsely imprisoned persons. Glisson has been an example to several individuals after suffering over 17 years in jail for a murder he did not commit.
