Cuneyt Arkin: A legendary actor from Turkey, dies at the age of 85
The legendary Yeşilçam and master actor in Turkish film, Cuney Arkn, died at 85 in the clinic where he was getting treatment. The details of his demise were disputed following the news that caused many fans to bawl. Due to nerve root entrapment, Arkn spent about three months in the hospital in 2009.
How Did Cüneyt Arkn Pass Away?
Cüneyt Arkn, known to be a professional player, felt unwell yesterday night and was also found to receive treatment in Beşiktaş, Ulus, at a hospital. Along with her children, his wife Betül Cüreklibatr went to the hospital.
The actor, who’d been around 85 years, died suddenly here. Per a statement issued by the hospital where Arkn recently died, “Mr. Cüneyt Arkn, the renowned actor in Turkish film, died in Liv Clinic, in which he had come by emergency due to cardiac arrest, despite efforts to revive him.

His dad, Hac Yakup Cüreklibatr, was a War of Independence hero. The year 1961 saw him graduating from Istanbul Med School.
Halit Refi, the chairman of afaik Bekçileri, saw him while he was in service to his country as a reservist in Eskişehir in the year 1963.
After his military service, he worked in hospitals in or around the province of Adana.
What Happened:
He started acting in 1963 after hiring an employee from Halit Refi, and over the following two years, he starred in at least thirty movies.
The fight in his 1964 movie Gurbet Kuşlar was a defining moment in Arkn’s career. He had played sensitive or romantic roles before Halit Refi advised him to start focusing on action films.
