Jailene Holton, 21, was killed after a maniac released terror in Northeast Philadelphia Bar.
A minimum of at least five out of the 15 fatal gun shootings by an irate protester went just past the entrance of Philly Bar and Restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia, killing a 21-year-old young lady.
CBS3 has spoken with her parents, who are trying to say “enough is enough” to local politicians. “I’m on my way home from work and I get the call, and I’m like, ‘what do you mean she’s been shot?'” James Holton, Jailene’s uncle, spoke in a statement.
The families left with sorrow-
The girl’s parents are urging state officials to do an efficient job of keeping violent criminals held liable so that no extra civilians are killed.
The tearful uncle told CBS3, “that woman killed in the shootout was his niece, Jailene Holton, 21.” “She was a good kid,” Holton said. “She worked and was home a lot.
She wasn’t a street person and didn’t go out often. She stood to herself.”
He claims she was just an innocent person finishing up a night outside with mates when she was about to become the town’s newest victim of assault.
The call of police officials in the investigation-
A little after 11:30 p.m. Monday, police were called to the Philly Bar and Restaurant on the 2400 block of Welsh Road near Bluegrass Road. Deputies arrived at the scene of two victims. The youngster was lying unresponsive on the bar ground with a shotgun wound to her head, and a guy in his 30s had a smashed glass piece on his cheeks.
According to CBS3, the fire was caused by a tussle between three men over a billiards table. The lounge struggled to smack the guy out; however, when they did, the guy walked about 200 feet away to his car and shot 15 shots back-to-back before fleeing in a pitch-black truck, according to authorities.
Investigators believe the girl killed had no ties to the gunman. According to witnesses, she had been meeting friends close to the back of the bar before she was fired.
