A boating accident claimed the life of an American softball player, Kendall Johnson. She was 15 years old and a sophomore at Parkway West High school.

According to the sources, an accident occurred when she was swimming in a lake with a 16 years old boy at about 4.15 pm; a boat driven by a 62 years old man struck the swimmers and then struck a rock bluff. The boy sustained minor injuries while Kendall died on the spot.

Kendall Johnson’s early life and bio-

She was a professional softball player born in Baytown, Texas, United States. 

In 2017, Kendall graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School, Northport, Alabama, and was chosen as class 7A All-state Honorable Mention by Alabama Sports Writers Association.

Kendall’s elder sister also plays softball, and it is said that she was the one who inspired her to start playing softball; from there, Kendall became very passionate about it.

How was Kendall’s professional career?

Kendall was still very young and at the peak of her career. She was an established player at such a young age.

She scored 92 pitched innings last season, making a 10-5 record and a 3.12 run average. She had given 89 hits while striking out 112. She was a star player for her team, Thunderbirds, who was off to a 10-5 start with 3-4 in the rugged Central Wisconsin Conference 8.

Her untimely demise deeply shocked and saddened her friends and family. Her school principal issued an open letter to all the students and parents announcing her death and paying her a little tribute.
