The case of a husband charged with killing his 19-year-old wife when her body was discovered in an acidic solution in their western Sydney apartment was presented in court. According to the police, around noon and 5 pm, Mr. Zafar killed his wife, a medical student. Zafar was convicted of murder after turning himself to the Bankstown police station.
Shortly afterward, his white tipper vehicle was discovered discarded at Bunnings Greenacre. When Zafar’s attorney requested a postponement to prepare a statement, he appeared through videoconferencing.
