Justin Crawford, a former Sydney Swans, and Hawthorn player, died at just 45. He was the younger brother of AFL legend Shane Crawford.
The death of Justin Crawford shattered the entire Crawford family. Shane Crawford made a statement in which he stated that they are so sad for the loss and that he was a much-loved brother and son.

Justin Crawford was an Australian rules footballer who played with Sydney and hawthorn in the Australian Football league during the 1990s. He was born on the 20th of March 1977 in Finely, Australia. He played for Tocumwal.
After being selected by Swans, he played four seasons in AFL. When the Swans fell to the Brisbane Lions, he made his AFL debut in round 3 in 1995. In his first season, he played ten games earning a rising star nomination after 26 disposals.
In his second season, he only managed seven games in Sydney. The brothers reunited and took the field together at Finley. At 21, he walked away from the game as he called off his AFL career after two seasons at Hawks.
