July 4 is celebrated as Independence Day in the United States of America. Robert Crimo is taken into custody as a suspect after a massacre took place in an Independence rally at Highland Park, Illinois.

A gunman opened fire on parade, killing 6 people and injuring at least 30. Police have not declared Robert a suspect but identified him as a person of interest.

He was born on September 20, 2000, and is currently 22 years old. He is of Italian descent and the middle child of three.

The wanted poster released by the FBI has described him as a thin white male with brown hair and 5’11 in height. He has three tattoos on his right cheek, neck, and left eyebrow.

According to the sources, he is an aspiring rapper who began uploading his music on internet platforms at 11. He also had a Facebook account taken down since the shooting incident.

What happened at the parade?

While many people were participating in the Independence Day parade with a holiday spirit, a rooftop shooter, with the help of a high-powered rifle, relentlessly opened fire on the crowd, causing people to run for their lives.

6 people died on the spot after sustaining gunshot injuries, and at least 30 were wounded. Twelve people were treated for gunshot injuries, some in critical condition.
