Washington: Bon Jovi bassist Alec John Such, a founding member of the band who played with them throughout their peak in the 1980s, died on Sunday at the age of 70, according to the rock band’s vocalist. John Such, who had been a childhood buddy of drummer Tico Torres and brought a guitar and the songwriter Richie Sambora seeing the group perform, was known to have been credited by Bon Jovi for putting the band around each other.
