Alex was a Yugoslavian migrant living in Canada. She used to work as a dental assistant and loved going out. She was also a beauty queen who participated in Miss Canada. One day at a car service center, she met Joe Pesic, son of Jelka Pesic. It was love at first sight for both of them, and after dating for just one month, they decided to marry.
What happened to Alexandra?
After the marriage, there was a constant tussle between the two because of Jelka. She wanted to run things accordingly. Alex was not happy with how Jelka dominated their marriage. She made an offer of the house that the couple couldn’t refuse.
When Alex got pregnant, everything started to become normal. But what happened next ruined the family forever. Jelka wanted to give Alex’s son Brandon a special tea that would help him in proper sleep. Alex was against it and told her not to do so. But Jelka made this tea and gave it to Brandon; when Alex checked on her son, she couldn’t feel his pulse.
This was the turning point for the couple and the Jelka. The couple split, and Alex was forced to fight for the custody of her son, which she later got. On August 5, 1992, Alex was shot by people hired to kill her.
Alex was taken to hospital where she died because of her injury. Jelka was found guilty of a 1st-degree murder after numerous witnesses saw what happened. Jelka was jailed for 25 years for the murder of Alex, but his sone Joe Pesic was not found guilty of anything.
