Ricky Bibey, a renowned rugby league player, was discovered dead in a hotel, together with a severely wounded woman. The hotel stall called the cops. When the authorities arrived, he was found side forward on the ground.
“We are in contact with the Italian police following the death of a British citizen in Florence,” stated a representative for the (FCDO). However, there is no confirmation of his death cause. His girlfriend got seriously wounded and has been getting treatment in an Italy hospital.
What exactly happened?
Employees at the property informed media that his girlfriend “came out half nude from the room, coated with blood, begging for aid to the neighbours and a cleaning.”
He died as a result of a stroke, although the cause of death has yet to be determined.
According to the press, authorities have requested a post-mortem investigation.
“There is blood in the room, and forensic teams are working there while the woman is being treated at the hospital.”
“Her current state is serious, but she is stable, and her injuries are not life-threatening,” says the doctor. “We hope to question her within the next few hours.”
