A dad who was seen in the last family FaceTime call just moments ahead of shooting and killing his wife, two children, and himself in a lockdown homicide. Robert James Needham, 42, killed Ava, 4, and Lexi, 2, as they lay asleep with a licensed and lawfully purchased firearm.
The unpunishable sin condemned by Needham-
Robert James Needham, 40, killed his gorgeous wife Kelly Fitzgibbons at point-blank range before turning the gun on himself. Needham actively participated in a household Video call conversation before putting the two girls to sleep. Kelly’s uncle, Ronald Peacock, discovered the dead at the secluded property in the West Sussex hamlet of Woodmancote.
He further informed the tribunal how, after listening to Needham’s mother, he crawled through an apartment window into the couple’s room; Mr. Peacock further stated, “I realized I could see Ava’s head on the bed, under the duvet.” “Both girls were lying side by side in bed.” “Kelly was on the floor, near the door. Rob was lying on the floor in the corridor.”
What made Needham do this act?
According to claims, Robert abused cocaine in the period before the quarantine. Throughout the weeks before slaughtering his family, he attempted to purchase the drugs multiple times. Dr. John Slaughter, a clinical toxicologist, also testified at the court that Needham had not been under the influence of cocaine or liquor but could’ve been experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms.
There was little animosity between the couple, according to family members and friends, and there were no rumors of financial issues. Text messages revealed difficulties among the pair, but the inquiry heard there would be nothing to imply “violence or provide any cause for Robert’s following callous acts.”
