A train passenger in his twenties who was killed after being assaulted at the Reading station during an “altercation” on the carriage
On Saturday, Thomas Parker, 24, was attacked on the station platform following an altercation that occurred on the train earlier in the day. The alleged perpetrator of the attack, 42-year-old Kirkpatrick Virgo, is scheduled to make an appearance at Reading Crown Court on Monday, accused of murder and possession of a weapon of mass destruction. On Saturday just before midnight, law enforcement officers responded to a call about a man who had been found injured on platform eight. Thomas eventually passed away while being treated in a hospital in Berkshire.
