Murder convict Chad Isaak commits suicide in custody.
Forty-seven years old Chad Isaak was convicted in August for murdering four individuals in RJR Maintenance and Management in 2019. Chad stabbed the four individuals more than 100 times in Quadruple murder at the management property; the bodies of the victim were retrieved on April 1, 2019. They were also shot at least eight times.
During trials, Chad always insisted on being innocent, even in front of the deceased’s family members; the court sentenced him to 4 consecutive life sentences without any chances of parole.
How did Chad Isaak die?
Chad was bearing his sentence in prison when one day, a patrol trooper of North Dakota was called to the state Penitentiary at 5.45 pm on Sunday.
According to the agency, the call was made regarding a resident who tried to inflict self-harm.
The trooper said that he was informed about the admission of Chad to Sanford Health Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6.24 pm.
Information about the exact injuries and cause of death has not been shared publicly, and an investigation is still ongoing.
Why did Chad commit murders?
Chad Isaak never confessed the guilt during the trials; hence, the prosecutor could not prove any motive behind these brutal slayings. Rather the major evidence was recovered in the form of DNA and fiber. The investigation also hinted at the involvement of someone with a medical background. It was later found that Chad was a former Navy medic.
The defence tried hard to lessen the punishment and said that major other factors are being ignored and the sole responsibility for murders is wrongly inflicted on Chad. The defense attorney of Vogel Law Firm, the one who represented Chad, said in a statement that his death is extremely sad and tragic.
