On June 5th, we heard about the shoving of a 52-year-old woman onto the subway tracks of the Bronx Subway. The man responsible for this incident is named Theodore Ellis. The police have arrested him for pushing the woman down the tracks. The incident left the victim with a broken collar bone.
He was arrested on charges of assault and reckless endangerment for forcefully shoving the woman. He shoved her down the tracks of the Westchester Avenue station in the Bronx’s Longwood area.
How did the New York Police Department arrest him?
The New York Police Department received a tip regarding information for the accused’s arrest on June 7th. The person who granted the tip was offered $3500 for their help.
According to New York Police Department sources, a worker in the Metropolitan Transportation Authority seemed to recognize his face from the wanted posters put up everywhere. They immediately informed the police, and the NYPD was quick to arrest him before another assault.

As he approaches the victim, he wraps his arms around her and throws her down on the subway tracks. The accused is wearing a white coloured tank top, a red bag on his shoulders, and a baseball cap worn backwards.
