The Wife of a University Executive Is on Murder Charges. Second-Degree Murder Is Charged Against Danielle Redlick.
Danielle Redlick is accused of a murder conviction and perverting the course of justice in the death of Michael Redlick, who is head of foreign relations and corporate relations at the University of Central Florida’s DeVos Sport Business And management Degree Programme.
Although court proceedings started on Monday, judges were chosen on Wednesday. Opening remarks started immediately after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, including associate state prosecutor Sean Wiggins recalling the morning after Michael Redlick’s death. Wiggins said in court that Redlick seemed dissatisfied throughout the relationship and had also asked for a divorce, which stopped when she started a dating profile in 2018.

On a Saturday morning in January 2019, police found Michael Redlick, 65, dead in the 1200 block of Temple Drive. The police have confirmed the man killed under strange circumstances was the head of the University of State Florida’s sports business and management division. Following the inquiry, it was revealed that his wife, Danielle Redlick, was the culprit. During half of the investigation, investigators from the Winter Park Police Forensic Section collected evidence within the apartment, whereas police had spoken to nearby residents.
As per a summons for Redlick’s prosecution, she spent 11 hours after her husband died without calling 911. Police found Redlick told 911 emergency responders that her husband had a cardiac arrest following an altercation but subsequently claimed he stabbed himself.
