A Florida man, Juan Carlos La Verde: Survives Fight With 12 Foot Alligator

Who is Juan Carlos La Verde?

The terrifying incident was caught on camera by a drone, and you can watch the fantastic battle between the war veteran and an alligator. This incident occurred while he was swimming in Florida.

When he was attacked, Juan Carlos La Verde was filming an online tutorial for a contest organized by his adventure travel company.

A tall alligator attacked a marathon runner and clamped its jaws around his SKULL, putting him in danger of death.

According to the reports, the alligator locked its mouth around La Verde’s head and chest with a combined force of almost 2,000 pounds. The bite crushed La Verde’s fractured jaw and a piece of his head.

Juan Carlos La Verde had a gut feeling that he would be attacked.

“With the proper stroke, all I felt were scales and teeth, and then I was like, okay. So, what I believe I did—or what I felt like doing—was that I hurriedly attempted to open its jaws because I was aware that I was inside a gator, “according to La Verde.”  When I felt the teeth, I knew right away. As I opened it, I knew that I had either turned it or it had turned me. Both of us were confused, but then it just let go.”

“Because of the fresh viewpoint this gave me—which is something that not many people do—I am actually even better.”

Alligator attacks are rare, and usually, victims survive them. It’s rare when a person dies of an attack.
