A British woman’s own father is suspected of raping her when she was on vacation in Crete, and he has heroically forfeited his right to privacy in order to demonstrate that he is “100% innocent.”
While her father rots in a Greek prison on charges of repulsive sexual assault on her, Tammi Forsythe claims that the true rapist is still out there.
Tammi, a 33-year-old mother of four, describes how she was pulled from an alley into a bush in the early morning hours and wants to be identified so Greek police can apprehend the true rapist.
On June 11, Forsythe was detained two days after Tammi alleged that she had been sexually assaulted while out with him on a night out in the crowded pubs and nightclubs frequented by the British in the beach town of Malia. He is currently being held in a prison in the Greek mainland city of Tripoli while DNA results are awaited.
Greek prosecutors have informed Forsythe that he will face trial in 18 months or maybe be freed depending on the outcome of the investigation. Forsythe has denied perpetrating the rape. He has only been legally accused of the offense under Greek law.
What did Tammi Forsythe disclose?
Tammi disclosed that she is still in Crete and has been daily speaking with her father on the phone. Tammi, who resides in Hull with his father, disclosed that she is still in Crete and has been calling him every day.
“I can only speak to him for a brief period of time,” she yelled. He is in a terrible state of mind and does not comprehend why this has occurred since he has not broken any laws. “Diabetes and other significant health issues plague my father.” He hasn’t eaten well in five days and is on the verge of passing out. I’m terrified that this could all end up killing him.
After the attack, Tammi admitted that she worries that she is pregnant. She is divorced from her father and the mother of a 15-year-old daughter and three sons who are 12, 10, and 5 years old.
“This holiday has become a horror film,” Tammi remarked. “Because I feel a little under the weather and haven’t had my period, my tension and anxiety have only become worse. It’s not like me because I’m fairly consistent generally.”
