The Band members paid tribute to him
Tremendous amounts of affection have been expressed to Tristan.
In a tribute, his friend wrote that “In 1997, Tristan and I met in Adelaide. We had unrealistic ideas of traveling the world with a band when we were in college. The fact that Tristan was a member of a rock band struck this thin jazz singer with acute stage fright as being so cool. But Tristan saw something in me, and when we began collaborating on music and songwriting, a whole new universe began to open up. With our music, we continued to do so many beautiful things. We traveled the world together, sharing stages big and small as we got to know and collaborate with incredible, creative people. It’s been the most amazing journey ever.”
